Carry On Uncensored
Whilst the 'Carry On' films brought entertainment & laughs to millions it is a well known fact that several of the stars led less than happy lives, died in tragic circumstances or at a relatively young age. Some simply disappeared from view or became elusive after their roles in the series, leaving fans, contemporaries and the people they worked with intrigued.
The following special sections takes a look at some of these 'Carry On' actors in more detail. It looks at their final years in a little more detail, in some cases their deaths and what happened to them after they left the series. It also gives a bit more insight into their careers, personal lives and final projects.
Some accounts are sad, some tragic, some a little dark or mysterious. One thing is for certain though, we will never see the likes of these great actors again & the golden legacy of comedy that they left.
